Play New York's classic Lotto along with its new feature Lotto Extra. For New York's traditional Lotto choose 6 numbers from 1 to 59 on the playcard. Lotto Extra has it's own playcard

  1. Purchase a New York Lotto playcard from a licenced lottery vendor each Lotto play costs $1. You may also purchase a Lotto Extra playcard or quick pick for $1 per play.

  2. New York Lotto playcards have 10 panels on which to play. Each panel contains allows you to choose 6 numbers ranging between 1 and 59

  3. To mark your play card use a black pencil, blue or black ballpoint pen. Red ink will not be accepted.

  4. The minimum play is $1 for two (2) game panels. Or you can play up to $5 on the 10-playcard.

  5. You must choose how you want to receive your Jackpot prize amount in the Jackpot Prize Payment Option box on the front of the playcard. Choose the "26 Annual Payments" box if you wish to receive the prize amount in 26 graduated annual payments. Or choose the "Lump Sum Cash Value" box if you wish to receive the prize as one lump sum cash payment. Note: Jackpot winners who select the lump sum cash value option will receive the estimated present cash value of the advertised amount. This amount will be less than the advertised jackpot.

Lotto Extra Instructions

Pick up a Lotto Extra playcard from a licenced New York Lottery vendor or get Lotto Extra Quick Pick. Lotto Extra play costs $1 in addition to your Lotto wager. Lotto Extra give you the ability to match the original 6 numbers or the Extra bonus number chosen at the beginning of each drawing for additional prizes. Playing the Lotto Extra gets you a total of 8 prize levels instead of the 5 available with the New York Lotto.
